Kern River Status Update
Due to low Power Flow obligations and the availability of storage in Lake Isabella, some District canal systems will be cut back or even shut down in order to maximize storage for use in the summer months. District staff will do our best to keep growers informed. If you have any questions please call the District’s Dispatch Office at (661) 834-4653.
The Kern River Watershed Coalition Authority meeting on February 6 at 1:00 PM will be held at the Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District office located at 849 Allen Road.
Once again the North West Kern Resource Conservation District is offering irrigation system evaluations through it’s Mobil Lab. The Mobil Lab technicians will check the operation of your filters, and emitters and sprinklers at a low cost to water users.
