Currently, only the Kern Island Service Area served via the Kern Island Canal and it’s laterals are available to receive surface water at this time. All other canals are shut down.
To help visualize just how low the River is, the District is providing this graph, showing River flow starting in June through today, compared to what the River did in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
