Kern River Status Update
The Buena Vista Canal started operating over the weekend and is expected to begin making deliveries soon. The Eastside Canal as well as the Kern Island Canal and it’s laterals are currently in operation. Other canals may start operating if required due to Powerflow obligations sometime later this month.
In January water applications for 2022 went out to all water users. Growers are encouraged to review these applications to ensure the information we have on file is correct. These water applications are vital in preparing accurate grower prorations in April.
